ClearAccess is an exciting growth company in the broadband products and services business seeking a talented software
developer who can program and integrate applications in a modular way.
The position of Software Engineer requires integration experience and flexibility of both language and architecture.
Java and JSP are the primary modes of programming, utilizing a PostgreSQL database back-end.
Teamwork and communication skills are highly regarded at ClearAccess.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of J2EE environment
- Programming in Java, JSP, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
- Eclipse and/or MyEclipse IDE preferred
- Working knowledge of JBoss and Apache Tomcat
- Understanding of Linux (ideally RedHat Enterprise 4+)
- Experience in PostgreSQL
- Database structures
- Maintenance
- Entity Relationships
- Must be able to program modularly
- Desire to work in a startup environment and take ownership of results
- Strong communication skills and team orientation
Preferred But Not Required:
- Experience with SOAP
- Experience with data networking
- Experience with VoIP
- Knowledge of the Windows Environment (XP, Server 2003, Vista)
- Knowledge of ASP, VBScript and SQL Server
- Graphical design/manipulation (Adobe CS2 or similar)
- Ideal candidates would be based in Portland, OR or Vancouver, WA.
