Primus Telecommunications Group Inc. has selected ClearAccess (TelcoTV 2010, booth 120) to deliver next generation TR-069 management solutions to Primus’ broadband subscribers across Canada. Primus is deploying the ClearVision® management system to improve help desk support and provide customers with new managed services to more easily manage all the devices in today’s connected home.

Primus has migrated its current installed base of managed residential gateways from its incumbent
TR-069 ACS to the ClearVision applications platform, and can enable new ClearAccess applications such as a web-based consumer portal for managing the home network. In the future with ClearVision in place, Primus can provide subscribers broadband applications such as whole-home parental controls and managed firewall (http://www.clearaccess.com/solutions/broadband-applications) and managed quality of service, which will enable Primus to create new revenue opportunities.
